APPOINTMENTS – Covid-19 Changes to our services
Following NHS England’s guidelines the practice is going to be operating a triage first system. This means all appointments in practice will be a phone call first and then your clinician will assess you and if appropriate will offer a face to face consultation.
All GP consultations from 16th March 2020 will be a phone call first. Your GP will invite you in to surgery if they need to see you.
For all existing face to face appointments that have been booked – these have been changed to a phone call.
Nurse & HCA Appointments
All Nurse appointments from 16th March 2020 will continue. However you will receive a phone call from one of our Nurses prior to your appointment.
All existing Nurse appointments that have been booked – you will receive a phone call on the same day confirming you can attend surgery.
If you need a Nurse appointment please call the surgery on the day you want the appointment, you will be triaged first then offered an appointment.
We are advising all patients to register for online access to the practice – either through Patient Access of self registering on the NHS App.
Using this service you can order your prescriptions online without coming in to surgery.
To reduce footfall in practice we would like to send all prescriptions electronically (EPS) to your preferred local pharmacy.
Please let us know which pharmacy you would like to nominate. This can be done on the NHS App or by ringing the practice.
This information below is pre Covid-19 information.
