Our practice nurses work every day Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 and hold surgeries to promote health promotion and screening including:
- Asthma clinic
- Epilepsy
- Contraception pill, injection checks
- Coronary heart disease / MI check ups
- Diabetes clinic
- Ellesmere Port Hospital holds a drop-in clinic Tuesday at 2.00pm
- Dietary advice
- Hypertension clinic
- Well man/Well woman checks
- Immunisations (baby and holiday vaccinations )
- ECG (electrocardiograph Wart clinic
- Wart Clinic
Health care assistant
The health care assistant supports the practice nurses and does well person checks, hypertension, spirometry, ECG’s and some injections.
