There's a range of NHS services on your doorstep and a series of practical sel help measures that we can all take. Your options for care are:
- Self help: Best choice for very minor illnesses and injuries that can be treated with a well stocked medicine cabinet and plenty of rest.
- NHS Direct: Internet/phone information on all aspects of health care, check your symptoms, hundreds of conditions and treatments. www.nhs.uk or call 0845 46 47
- Pharmacists: Visit your Pharmacy when you are suffering from coughs colds, fever and vomiting and you do not require a nurse of doctor. Call 0845 46 47 for your nearest Pharmacy
- GP: Make an appointment with us for an illness or injury that will not go away and for our other services and medical advice.
- A&E: Accident and Emergency should only be used in a critical or life threatening situation. Call 999 for an ambulance, your local A&E are Chester and Arrowe Park.
