Booking an appointment

The surgeries are 09.00 - 11.00am and 3.00 - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

You can book an appointment at our reception desk or by phone.

We have appointments available every day in the morning, please call on the day, preferably as early as possible from when we open at 8.30am.

Advance appointments are available up to 2 weeks ahead.

You may see any of the Doctors but if the doctor of your choice is not available we will offer you the first available appointment with another Doctor.

Telephone consultations

Telephone consultations are available with a Doctor or Nurse if you feel that your problem can be dealt with over the phone. Please ensure that your problem is suitable for a telephone consultation.

Cancellation

if you are unable to keep a booked appointment with either a Doctor or Nurse then please cancel the appointment giving enough time to allow us to offer it to someone else. Not attending an appointment disadvantages others and makes waiting for an appointment longer.

Out of Hours

If you have a medical issue that cannot wait until the surgery is open then you can call the 'out-of-hours' service who will be able to help you over the phone or arrange a visit. Please call 01244 343300.

Test results and investigations

Please ring the surgery between 10.00 and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Consultant / Hospital appointments

If you need hospital treatment then as part of the choose and book initiative we can offer you a choice of at least four hospitals and you are able to choose the date and time of your appointment.

If you would like a copy of the letter the Doctor sends to the Consultant please advise the Doctor when they refer you.
