Welcome to Old Hall Surgery

Old Hall Surgery is a GP Practice serving over 5,000 patients in and around Ellesmere Port. The practice doctors are Dr Alan Birch, Dr Martyn Phipps and Dr Sally Shaw. In addition to our GP surgeries we offer a wide range of services designed to support patients during illness and schemes to help their general health such as stopping smoking and preventing heart disease.

Out of Hours / Emergencies

When the surgery is closed, for urgent problems please call 01244 385300, this is the number for the Out of Hours service. You can also call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or visit the website www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk

Accident/Emergency Department

Please do not use this instead of the Practice.  During practice opening hours 8am to 6.30pm if you have a problem then please ring the surgery.

Accident and Emergency Departments should only be used in a critical or life threatening situation.  Accident and Emergency Departments provide immediate emergency care for people who show symptoms of serious illness or who are badly injured.

Health and Hygiene

We are committed as a practice to maintaining a high standard of hygiene and with the extended opening hours we will continue to have a cleaning service between 12.30pm-1.30pm, we ask that you be patient with us during these times.
